Roxy's Eco Weekend

Hello friends!

Summer is almost her and it is warming up in LA pretty fast which means its now swimsuit season, Britney Spears hops around town barefoot season, Saturdays at the Roosevelt pool season, Brunch on the patio season and perfect LINE DRY SEASON!!!

While I spend this weekend looking for apartments I am so proud to say that one of the first things I looked for was a place to install a Hills Quatro 6 clothesline. What can I say- I’m now obsessed!

On another note, I tried really hard this weekend to be green, however I did slip up a bit…

Some non eco friendly things I did this weekend
-    I forgot my reusable bag for the grocery store at home
-    I ran the air conditioning while I slept- although I blame my roommate for this
-    I used 409 to clean

Some eco friendly things I did
-    I bought a Brita!
-    I hung out my clothes to dry…especially my jeans so they don’t shrink!
-    I bought veggies at the farmers market to support local farmers

Now if only I could remember to actually refill the Brita...nothing is worse than an unquenchable thirst because you didn’t fill the Brita up with enough water!

Welcome to the new Line Dry It eco blog!

This is our first blog off the rank and we can't tell you how excited we are!

This is were we'll be posting all of our exciting news, eco tips, facts, celebrity updates as well as anything else we can think of that will help you get into the spirit of the Hills Eco revolution.

In case you don't know - here at Hills, we're all about line drying. Sometimes that means changing attitudes about line drying as we think its such an easy and cool way to help save the environment as well as your clothes!

We've been busy launching a series of new eco friendly clothes line products and so far it's going really well.

We launch our new site www.linedryit.com in a week and so far have been getting tons of positive feedback from the press and other bloggers. Thanks btw!

Even celebrities are jumping on our eco wagon and joining our revolution such as Matt Rhys, the devine Danni Minogue, Radha Mitchell as well as uber hottie Rachel Bilson. Check out some of our coverage here and here.
